Brigham Young's Adam God doctrine: Adam is the father of Jesus

Brigham Young said of Adam, "He is our father and our god, and the only god with whom we have to do." Brigham Young also taught that Adam is the literal father of Jesus Christ and fathered Jesus in the same manner as any man fathers children.
