Unmasking Mormonism:

As a young adult I was just coming out of an abusive and oppressive childhood at the hands of a father who was an ordained minister, and wanting to distance myself from that, I was the prime candidate for a new convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon Church. For a while I bought it hook line and sinker and even served a two year mission for the church and even got married in the Mormon temple before finally admitting that my doubts were founded and left the Church. Had I known then what I know now I would have never even considered joining the LDS Church. This page is meant to be a resource for those who want to seriously investigate the claims and doctrine of the LDS Church and those who have come to the knowledge that it is not true and need resources or information to help others or on how to get your records removed from the Church.
Why I joined, and ultimately left the lds church
Some of my story into and out of Mormonism and what prompted me to join in the first place and some of the concerns that made me want to leave the Church.
THE BEST 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE: MY LDS MISSION
In LDS culture a mission served is said to be the best two years of a man’s life and is expected to strengthen his testimony of the Church and keep him active within the Church for the rest of his life. This is the story of my mission and the role it played in ultimately leaving the Church.
THE SINGLES WARD
Some of my experiences in a Singles Ward, and a little about the film. The basic idea behind a singles ward is to get the young adults married off as quickly as possible, and to keep them out of trouble until they do get married.
PRAISE TO THE MAN
