Interview With Pierce Christensen

This weeks episode is an interview with Martin Pierce Christensen, who is an interesting and inspirational young man, and he is, so far, the youngest guest on my show. Martin Pierce Christensen (goes by Pierce) is, at the time of this interview, 20, going on 21. Pierce’s parents were Grace Brethren youth leaders growing up and they are now entrepreneurs and own a small business. Pierce is the oldest of 8 children and was educated both at home and in public school. Pierce feels God’s call to lead a life of vocational missionary work and he is currently in culinary school to become a butcher.

Pierce is headed to do Missionary work in Chad and he has started a fund raiser to gain monetary support for his mission and what follows is his message on the Facebook fundraiser page: I don't like to ask for money but, as some of you may know, I'll be going to Chad to visit with the Lanes. I've been working to raise money through side jobs and working as often as I can, but I'm going to need close to another $1000. If you feel led to give it's much appreciated. If you're not able to I completely understand and know your thoughts and prayers are with me. I'll be leaving on the 10th, so I've got roughly 2 weeks before I head out. I'm packing up resupply and gifts to take over with me. If you want to send a letter or a little something, please keep it small. I can pick them up at Red Oak or you can mail it to 285 Tatham street Andrews, NC 28901. Please pray that our time together would be refreshing, encouraging, and God-glorifying.

The donations will go to paying for my immunizations bill, in-trip medications, in-trip food, other travel expenses, and will help pay off my root canal surgery that I had to pay for out of pocket.
